Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana 2022: To provide higher education to the girls and women of Rajasthan (Girls Distance Education Scheme 2022), for the scholarship of fee reimbursement amount to the girls taking admission under the Girls Distance Education Scheme 2022, started by the Government of Rajasthan. Online application has started. Online applications of Girl Distance Education Scheme 2022 will be filled from 02 December 2022 to 31 December 2022.

The Government of Rajasthan has implemented another new scheme to provide higher education to the girls and women of Rajasthan. The name of this government scheme is Girl Distance Education Scheme. Those girls and women of the state who cannot go to college and university regularly due to various reasons will be linked to this scheme. Along with this, the government will also pay the fees given to these girls and women to get higher education.

Girls Durasth Education Scheme 2022

Hon’ble Chief Minister has announced ‘Distance Education Scheme for Girls’ in the budget 2022 to provide distance education to those girls and women who are not able to go to college or university regularly due to family and other reasons. BUDGET ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 317.0.0 (2022-2023) and the amount is fifteen crores. Under this scheme, the fees for UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate courses etc. will be reimbursed.

This financial assistance can help improve the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) for girls in Rajasthan, especially in distance education, as well as the ratio of female to male representation in higher education, which is measured by the Gender Equality Index (GEI). GPI) and will ultimately lead to true women empowerment.

Rajasthan Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana 2022 Notification

‘Girl Distance Education Scheme’ | The Chief Minister’s big decision to promote girl education was implemented in the state. Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has taken a big decision in the direction of promoting higher education of girls. Now the girls and women of the state will be reimbursed the fees charged by the institutes for higher education through distance education.

With this, they will be able to continue their studies and build a better future. For this, Shri Gehlot has implemented ‘Girls Distance Education Scheme’ in the state. Rs 14.83 crore has been sanctioned every year to benefit 36,300 girls and women under the scheme. Such girls and women, who are not able to attend college and university regularly due to various reasons, will be connected with higher education through distance medium.

Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana 2022 Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: No Age Limit.
• The scheme is applicable for those girls who are resident of Rajasthan from any state funded university/university including IGNOU.

Distance learning admissions have been accepted for UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, etc. programmes at State Government Institutions.

The following courses will receive preference: PG, UG, Diploma, and Certificate.
Only distance learning is covered by the programme.

Candidates are ineligible for this programme if they received another reimbursement from a State Government programme during the same time period.

However, the difference between their “Existing Scholarship” and their “Distance Education Scheme for Girls-2022” would be paid back to them.
