When can E Shram Card second installment come
Labor card holders are eagerly waiting for the second installment. In such a situation, if media reports are to be believed then in the last week of July the workers can get the installment money. However, the official information is still awaited.
Labor card holders get a benefit of Rs 2 lakh
Do laborers know that e-labour card holders also get an additional benefit of Rs 2 lakh. The government provides an insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh to the e-labour card holders. For this, there is no need to pay any kind of premium to the Labor Card holders. Under this, if the E Shram Card holder becomes disabled. In this situation he gets Rs 1 lakh
On the other hand, if the laborer holding the e-labour card unfortunately dies in an accident. In this case, they are given an insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh. This insurance cover is given to them under Prime Minister’s Security Insurance Cover. The process of making E Shram Card is quite simple. You will not have to face any kind of problem in this. To get this Labor Card made, you have to go to the Labor Portal eshram.gov.in. Here you can generate your e-labor card by entering your required details.
28 crore people registered in Labor Card scheme
Let us tell you that according to the information given by the government, after the launch of this E Shram Card scheme, till now about 28 crore workers of the country have registered for this scheme. This includes construction workers, migrant laborers, agricultural workers, domestic workers, coolies, guards, barbers, cobblers, electricians, plumbers, rickshaw pullers, beauty parlor workers, cleaning workers, etc. To apply for this Labor Card scheme, your age should be between 16 to 59 years. Only then the laborers can get their labor cards made!
