This will benefit more than 6 crore people. The central government has already announced 8.1 percent interest on PF. Now the Employees Provident Fund Organization will soon transfer interest to the PF account at the rate of 8.1 percent. This is the lowest interest in 40 years. Earlier, the government has given an interest of 8.5 per cent. Here you are telling you how to calculate EPFO interest on average money. EPFO transfers the interest money to your PF account every year.

Employees Provident Fund Organization Update

If you have Rs 10 lakh in your Employees Provident Fund Organization account, you will get Rs 81,000 as interest.

If you have Rs 7 lakh in your PF account, you will get Rs 56,700 as interest.
Now if you have Rs 5 lakh in your EPFO account, then interest of Rs 40,500 will come.
If you have Rs 1 lakh in your account, then Rs 8,100 will come.

Balance can be checked in this way
Through SMS – Employees Provident Fund Organization has to send EPFO UAN LAN (language) to 77382998999 from the registered mobile number. LAN means your language. If you want information in English, you must write ENG instead of LAN. Similarly, Hindi is to be written as Hindi and TAM for Tamil. To get information in Hindi, you have to message EPFO by typing epfoho uan hin.

To view your balance online, visit the EPF Passbook portal. Login to this EPFO portal through your UAN and password. In this, click on Download/View Passbook and then Employees Provident Fund Organization passbook will open in front of you in which you can see the balance.

Through UMANG app of Employees Provident Fund Organisation.

If you have a smartphone, you can check your EPF balance whenever you want through the app. For this, open the UMANG app and click on EPFO. In this click on Employee Centric Services and then click on View Passbook and enter UAN and Password. OTP will come on the registered mobile number. After logging in, you can see Employees Provident Fund Organization balance.
