EPFO New Facility 2023: Employees’ Provident Fund Organization makes new experiments to provide better facilities to its customers! So that more and more customers can join Provident Fund or PF Account! It also implements some online facilities for EPF account holders for the security of Employees Provident Fund account.

In this sequence, now a new online facility has been started by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization! Also, Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has made e-nomination mandatory for its subscribers. If you do not do this then you will not be able to do your PF Balance Check! Not only this, you will not get any other benefit! It provides social security to the family of the account holder.

You can change the date of birth yourself

Information about Employees Provident Fund Organization has been given on the official website epfindia.gov.in. According to this, through the new facility of EPFO, any employee can change his date of birth after leaving the company. For this you will need the registered number in your EPFO account. This is because you will need an OTP to change your date of birth. This OTP will be received on this number, but this number will have to be linked to Aadhaar.

Also, after leaving the job through the portal, you can transfer the amount of your PF (Provident Fund) to another account! 24 crore PF account holders got interest: EPFO New Facility 2023

Let us tell you that Employees’ Provident Fund Organization has paid interest in the accounts of more than 24 crore account holders across the country. EPFO has sent interest at the rate of 8.50 percent to all PF account holders.

EPF e-registration is mandatory

Employees’ Provident Fund Organization also provides e-nomination facility to provide information to the nominee. Those who are not enrolled in this are being given a chance! After this information like name, date of birth of the nominee will be updated online. EPFO (EPFO) has asked its customers to do e-nomination (EPF / EPS nomination) of EPF account holders! By doing this, it helps the nominee/family members to withdraw money related to PF, Pension (EPS) and Insurance (EDLI) in case of death of the account holder. Nominee can also claim online!

E-nomination in EPF/EPS can be done like this

There is no official website of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPF) for EPF / EPS enrollment.

Now in the Services section click for Employees and click on Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP)
Now on that login a new page will open with UAN and Password
Select E-Nomination under Manage tab. After doing this, the Provide Details tab will appear on the screen, after that Save!

Click Yes to advertise a family now, then click Add Family Details!

Click on Nomination Details for Total Amount Share here, then click on Save EPF Nomination!

Now click on e-sign to generate OTP here Now enter OTP on registered mobile number linked with Aadhaar!

By doing this your e-nomination gets registered with EPFO. After this you do not need to send any hard copy document.

7 lakh employees provident fund facility available

Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (Linked Insurance Scheme) facility of subordinate insurance cover is also available to EPFO members. In this scheme, the nominee is given an insurance cover of up to Rs 7 lakh. If the member dies without nomination then the claim process becomes complicated.
