Benefits and Features of Ladli Yojana

Ladli Yojana has been started by Delhi Government on 1 January 2008.
Through this scheme, negative thinking towards daughters will be removed.
Under this scheme, financial assistance will be given by the government from the birth of daughters till their admission in class 12th.

Financial assistance ranging from ₹ 5000 to ₹ 11000 will be provided to the daughters under this scheme.
This scheme will also improve the sex ratio.
For the implementation of this scheme, on March 2, 2021, the government has approved a budget of Rs 100 crore.

Process of claiming maturity under Ladli Yojana

If the girl child is 18 years old after passing 10th then she can claim the maturity amount.

The girl child should have an acknowledgment letter from SBIL to claim the maturity amount and the acknowledgment letter should be accompanied by all other necessary documents.
Under the Ladli Yojana, it is necessary for the girl child to have a zero balance account in the State Bank of India. This account can be opened by showing the acknowledgment letter.
After the entire process, the amount of benefit will be transferred by State Bank of India on the unique ID number of the girl child.

Eligibility of Ladli Yojana

Only two daughters of a family can get the benefit of this scheme.
This scheme can be availed only by the permanent residents of Delhi.
The annual income of the family should be ₹ 100000 or less to avail the benefits.
The girl child should be registered in a recognized school only after that she can avail the benefits of this scheme.
