Petroleum companies have partnered with insurance companies for this insurance.

Before delivery, the dealer should check whether the LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) cylinder is perfect or not. Personal Accident cover is payable for loss of life and property in an accident due to LPG cylinder at the customer’s home. In case of damage to the property/home of the customer in an accident, an insurance claim of up to Rs 2 lakh per accident is available.

Know how to get claim of 50 lakhs on gas cylinder
The procedure to take claim after LPG accident is given on the official website mylpg.in. According to the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana website, if the customer gets LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) connection from the cylinder he receives, if there is an accident in his house, then that person is entitled to insurance of up to Rs 50 lakh. .
- Maximum compensation up to Rs 50 lakh can be received in case of LPG accident. Maximum compensation of Rs 10 lakh can be given to each person injured in the accident.
- To get the insurance cover of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) cylinder, the customer has to immediately inform the nearest police station and his LPG distributor about the accident.
How to apply in Ujjwala Yojana
A total of 8.05 million domestic LPG connections have been issued under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0, which was recently launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh. Average subsidized domestic LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) refill consumption under PMUY was highest in Delhi at 8.12 cylinders, followed by Chandigarh (7.45 cylinders), Puducherry (6.67 cylinders) and Mizoram (6.22 cylinders). The lowest refill consumption of 2.57 LPG cylinders of 14.2 kg was recorded in Chhattisgarh.

After that fill the requested information and submit it.
For offline application, download the form from the website.
Then fill the form and submit it to the nearest LPG gas dealer.

The second phase of the Ujjwala 2.0 scheme has been launched by the Prime Minister on August 10, 2021 to provide one crore additional LPG connections with free first refill and stove at all India level in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh.
