PM Awas Yojana Documents Required: Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana) is a scheme launched by the government in India, which aims to provide affordable houses to people from low income groups in urban and rural areas. This Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) was launched on 25 June 2015 and a target has been set to build 2 crore houses by 31 March 2023! Under this flagship scheme, CLSS or Credit Linked Subsidy is given to first time home buyers. That is, interest subsidy is given on home loan to buy a house! This subsidy can be up to a maximum of Rs 2.67 lakh! This is a scheme sponsored by the Central Government.

PM Awas Yojana Documents Required

The Modi government at the Center has decided to expand the housing scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana) to provide pucca houses to the poor. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 80 lakh houses will be built for the beneficiaries in urban and rural areas in 2022-23. To provide pucca houses with all necessary facilities to the people, the government has made a provision of Rs 48,000 crore in the budget.

It is noteworthy that in Madhya Pradesh, the government is working hard to provide houses to the poor. Housing construction work continued even during the Corona period! A target of 30 lakh was set in rural areas, out of which 23 lakh houses have been built. 4.40 lakh houses have been built in this financial year. At the same time, by March 2023,

about one lakh houses will be ready. So far, 3.50 lakh houses have been approved under PM Awas Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) Rural and the work of giving the first installment has been done. Four lakh 58 thousand houses have been built under Indira Awas since the year 2014. 46,791 houses have been built under forest rights. 1,17,639 houses have been constructed under the Home State Scheme.

Beneficiary PM Awas Yojana Documents Required

The beneficiary family of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana) will include husband, wife, unmarried sons and/or unmarried daughters!
One adult earning member (irrespective of marital status) may be treated as a separate household. “Housing for All” mission for urban area has been implemented from 17.06.2015 to provide central assistance to the implementing agencies.

Credit linked subsidy scheme (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) is being offered under this mission Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana! For the Middle Income Group (MIG), interest subsidy will be provided on the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana) loan for construction/repurchase (including repurchase) of the house. Housing for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) / Low Income Group (LIG), interest subsidy will be provided on housing loans for construction of houses.
