Increase in budget more than before under PM Awas Yojana
Regarding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana), in the budget of the financial year 2023-24, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced to give more budget than before to fulfill the dreams of the poor citizens of the country.
So that the government can give the benefit of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme to more and more people! The budget of PM Awas Yojana 2023 has been increased by 66 percent by the central government.
At present, the budget amount has been increased to Rs 79000 crore for the implementation of this scheme. This budget amount will help in increasing the number of houses. PM Awas Yojana (PMAY) was started by the Government of India in 2015 to provide housing benefit to the poor families of the country.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be operated till 2024: PM Awas Yojana Online [ Form ]
The poor families of the country will now get the benefit of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Housing Scheme) till 2024! This scheme was started by the Central Government in 2015 till 2022! But considering the achievements of this scheme, it has been extended till 2024.
The government has extended this scheme for two more years. Under this Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana), approval has been granted for the construction of 122 lakh new houses! In these houses,
the construction work of 65 lakh houses has been completed and the construction work of remaining houses is also going on fast. This PMAY scheme has been extended till 2024! So that more and more poor families can get their own house.
Amendment made in the rules of houses allotted under the scheme
Recently, under the PM Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana) 2023 by the government! A major amendment has been made in the rules of allotted houses. This future agreement is not registered.
As per these new revised rules it will be seen! Whether the beneficiary lives in his allotted house for the first 5 years or not! If the beneficiary lives in his allotted house for 5 years, then this agreement will be converted into lease deed.
If the beneficiary stays in the house for 5 years! If this Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Housing Scheme) violates the rule, then under this new rule! The Development Authority will terminate the contract with him. Also your amount will not be refunded!

New terms and conditions of the Central Government! According to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Housing Scheme) 2023, the flats built will no longer be free hold! Means the beneficiaries will have to live on lease in these flats even after 5 years!
