Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2023 – Urban
The Government of India started the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the year 2015. This plan is divided into three phases. The first phase of the scheme started in June 2015 and ended in March 2017. The second phase of the scheme started in April 2017 and ended two years later in March 2019. The third and last phase of this scheme was started in April 2019 and will end in March 2022.

ISSR is the short form of In-Situ Slum Redevelopment which in Hindi means in-situ redevelopment plan for slums. Under this, land is used as a resource with the participation of private developers. CLSS (Credit Based Interest Subsidy Scheme)
CLSS is the short form of Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme which in Hindi is called Credit Based Interest Subsidy Scheme. Beneficiaries of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Lower Income Group (LIG), Middle Income Group (MIG)-I and Middle Income Group (MIG)-II who are covered by Bank, Housing Finance Company and 6.5% on loan amounts of ₹ 6 lakhs, ₹ 9 lakhs and ₹ 12 lakhs respectively for acquisition, construction or enhancement of houses (applicable only for EWS / Low Income Group) who wish to take home loans from such other institutions , 4% and 3% interest subsidy can be availed.
The Ministry has designated the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), the National Housing Bank (NHB) and the State Bank of India (SBI) as the Central Nodal Agency (CNA) to disburse the loans to the beneficiaries through the lending institutions. disburse subsidy in a transparent and orderly manner and monitor the process.

AHP (Affordable Housing in Partnership)
Under AHP, an assistance amount of ₹ 1.5 lakh per EWS house is provided by the Government of India. In order to be eligible for central assistance in an affordable housing project, at least 35% of the houses in the project must be of EWS category. States/UTs fix a ceiling price for the sale of EWS houses to make them affordable and accessible to the beneficiaries. BLC (Beneficiary Based Individual Housing Construction/Expansion)

PMAY-G Objective and Assistance Amount
