What are the things required to activate UAN?
Registered Mobile Number – To activate UAN, the mobile number which you had given for EPFO registration in HR department will be required.

For this, first of all you have to visit the official website of EPFO.
On the home page of the website, you have to click on the option of Activate UAN under the important link.
After clicking on it you will be redirected to the new page.
On this page an application form will open on your screen.
In this letter, you will be asked some necessary information like applicant’s name, address, date of birth, mobile number etc. You will have to enter.
In case of non-availability of UAN number, you can use your PAN number or Aadhaar number.
After this you have to click on the option of Get Authorization Pin given below.
Now you have to accept the Term and Conditions of EPFO.
Now an OTP will be received on your mobile number.
By entering the OTP, you have to click on the option of Validate OTP and Activate UAN.

How to activate through mobile?
First of all, you have to download the EPFO app from your mobile’s Google Play Store.
