Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
The objective of the PMAY scheme is to encourage people from economically weaker sections, low-income groups and middle-income groups to buy their first home. If PM Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana) applicant has already purchased a house, then he/she will not be eligible under PMAY (PM Housing Scheme). Aadhaar card details are mandatory to get benefits under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. If you have lost your Aadhaar card, you can consider applying through your Virtual ID number mapped in your Aadhaar card.
As per PMAY (PM Housing Scheme),
to be eligible to receive central assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the beneficiary family must have land in his/her name or in the name of any member of his/her family in any part of India. But there should not be a pucca house. Since you have not yet built a house on this land, you will be able to apply for assistance subject to meeting the income requirements of the PM Awas Yojana.
How to check your name in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana list?
Visit the official website of PMAY-U, i.e. pmaymis.gov.in
Click on the “Search Beneficiary” option on the page.
On the new page that opens, enter the Aadhaar number in the space provided and click on “Show”.
Your PMAY application details will appear along with the application status.

If you have not registered for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana with your Aadhaar number, you can access your PMAY-U application status by name, father’s name and mobile number or assessment ID. It is to be noted that the construction of PMAY-U (PM Housing Scheme) houses is in various stages and so far in PM Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana) more than 73 lakh houses have been constructed and about 43 lakh have been completed. Enter your PMAY application registration and click on “Submit”.

Govt Approves Construction of 56,368 New Houses Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
In a good news for many, the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on Tuesday approved the construction of 56,368 new houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In the meeting of the 53rd Central Approval and Monitoring Committee, it was decided to approve new houses. (PM Housing Scheme)
Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June 2015, the PM Awas Yojana aims to ensure housing for all by 2022. In addition to this Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the central government has set a target of constructing 1.12 crore houses in urban areas in the country over a period of seven years.
