The Andhra Pradesh government is going to launch the AP YSR Asara scheme for the women self-help groups (SHGs). Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch this YSR Aasara Yojana on 11th September 2020. In this debt waiver scheme, the state government will reimburse the outstanding loans of the SHGs. After the official launch, people will be able to check their status, beneficiary list of the scheme for loan waiver purpose.

Many women in Andhra Pradesh state have taken massive loans and now they will get relief under YSR Aasara Yojana. These loans were taken to spend towards education, health care, elderly care, daily needs and other emergencies. A total of Rs 6345.87 crore will be released for the benefit of 7,91,257 SHGs. Women will now come out of the vicious cycle of loans which they were in due to their inability to cope with exorbitant rates of interest. AP YSR Asara Scheme for Women SHGs

Andhra Pradesh State Government will now launch the AP YSR Asara Scheme on 11th September 2020. The AP government will reimburse all outstanding loans taken by all women members of self-help groups belonging to SC, ST, BC and minority communities. in four installments on 11 April 2019. The amount of loans outstanding as on the cut-off date was calculated, resulting in an excess of Rs 25,383.49 crore. The main objective is to waive off the loans of debt-ridden women SHGs in the state.

AP YSR Aasara Yojana will ensure that women are not once again forced to take loans at high interest rates. The amount given under the Aasara scheme can also be used for their future prospectus, if they have already repaid their loan. The government will still stick to its promise of reimbursement of the total outstanding loan.

AP YSR Aasara Scheme Eligibility
Only applicants who fulfill the below mentioned criteria will be eligible for AP YSR Asara Scheme:-

• The applicant must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh state.
• Women should be under Self Help Group (SHG).
• Candidate must be in possession of Aadhar Card.
• He should have a mobile number.
• Bank loan documents are required.
• Applicant women must belong to SC/ST/BC/Minority community.
• The women must have taken the loan before 11 April 2019.

CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch AP YSR Aasara on 11 September 2020 and will waive off loans of women from poor families. For the first installment, the government has given a benefit of about Rs 6345 crore to 7,91,257 SHGs. AP Chief Minister YSR Aasara Yojana Portal (Official Website)

The official website is currently not available as the launch event of AP YSR Aasara Yojana is scheduled to take place on 11th September 2020. What is Andhra Pradesh YSR Aasara Scheme?

Budget of YSR Asara Yojana

YSR Aasar scheme has been launched by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh to clear all the pending loans of DWCRA women of the state with the help of banks by 11th April 2019 and for the successful implementation of this scheme (YSR আসরা শেমেন), the government has released Rs. . 6,792.11 crore budget has been approved on 11 September 2020 for the first installment.
